Description: Zen bills itself as a Soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant but, despite doing amazing Soba, is much more than that. Fried chicken lovers will delight as Zen’s Karaage might just be some of the best in Hakuba, while the Teriyaki Chicken Wings will have you coming back for more. Vegetarian options like the assorted tempura and deep fried tofu are also a must. Book early as Zen has a habit of filling up… fast!

Description: One of the very best restaurants in Echoland a trip to Hakuba is not complete without dining at Sarugaku. Sarugaku has a wide-ranging and exhaustive menu, with everything on the menu being almost as enjoyable as the next. Description: Arguably the best sushi and sashimi in Hakuba, Kikyoya has long been a favourite with tourists and locals alike. Walls adorned in glowing reviews, a traditional tatami setting and a more than amiable host make Kikyoya a restaurant not to miss for any sushi and sashimi enthusiast. Description: Bos is cosy and quaint, but this adds to the intimacy of this Echoland jaunt. Cooked on a hotplate in front of you, Bos serves up Hakuba’s best (in our opinion) Okinomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake). Aside from delicious food, the hospitality is second to none and really adds to an inclusive atmosphere. On a whole Bos is very good value for money. Don’t miss out!

Description: Burgers are the name of the game at The Rabbit Hole and not just any old burgers.
